The Federal Government is meeting for one day on August 26th. Let’s make sure they hear us loud and clear! We need FULL & PERMANENT IMMIGRATION STATUS FOR ALL – migrants, refugees, undocumented, students, workers, homeless, criminalized, sex workers, families – NOW.

Canada's immigration laws are unjust! The English language and education requirements for Care Workers are too high and are unfair. We speak enough English and we do NOT need Canadian post-secondary education to do our jobs well! Because of these unfair requirements, many of us cannot apply for PR and we will lose our immigration status.

We are also dealing with the impact of the coronavirus crisis! Some of us have lost our jobs and we are worried about finishing our 24 months of service or finding an employer who will help us with our papers. Some of us still have a job, but we cannot leave our employer's homes and we are forced to work all the time without proper pay.
