On Saturday July 18, the Caregivers’ Action Centre hosted a BBQ for current and former caregivers at Christie Pits Park! Caregivers from all over the GTA and beyond were able to meet and get acquainted with each other.

Caregivers write on a pinata injustices they have experienced as workers in Canada. Answers included “unpaid overtime”, “rejection of LMIA”, “long hours” and “smell [of cigarette smoke]”.
